Infant/Toddler Rooms

Welcome to our amazing Infant/Toddler Classroom Program! We’re thrilled to offer a nurturing and vibrant environment where your little ones can explore, learn, and grow to their fullest potential. Our passionate team is dedicated to sparking social, emotional, and cognitive development through fun and engaging activities designed just for your child. Let’s embark on this joyful and enriching journey together!

 

Within the infant room we separate the kids from the below 1 year old to above 1 year old but still share in a cohesive space so that both groups of kids can interact and learn from one another from time to time. 

For the kids that are 6 weeks old to about a year old, our staff focuses on developing essential skills and progressively working on tummy time, developing social and problem solving skills, developing fine motor skills and even getting into more solid food as time progresses. Children at this age learn through a variety of ways with different toys, activities, and also through their peers. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff will take care of your precious newborn and help them grow. 

Then for the kids that have turned 1, they'll keep developing their motor skills and work on more stable head control, taking their first steps, continuing to develop on social cues and language, all while having a blast. Our infant room is filled with incredibly skilled caretakers, and their ready to help your child flourish.

Our Toddler Program focuses on developing a structured day involving a set nap time, circle time, snack, lunch times, and outdoor play. The toddler curriculum helps your child to move confidently and learn to communicate while having a blast with friends! Our experienced staff work hard to establish a routine as a group that will help them strive during their time at Rainbow Castle.

​2-Year Old Class

 

At Rainbow Castle, our 2-year-old classroom is designed to support children through one of their biggest transitions—from babyhood into early childhood. We gently guide them from infant-style sleep habits to a more structured nap routine, and our caring team offers full support during potty training, easing the process for both children and parents.

We understand that every child adjusts at their own pace. That’s why we focus on emotional support, helping children navigate feelings, learn to share, follow directions, and begin building friendships in a warm, nurturing environment.

Our Toddler Curriculum is specially designed for 2-year-olds, helping them grow in every developmental area:

  • Expanding vocabulary and early communication

  • Strengthening gross and fine motor skills

  • Encouraging problem-solving and independent thinking

  • Building emotional regulation and social awareness

  • Introducing early pre-writing and creativity

Each month, we introduce a fun new theme that keeps children engaged and excited to learn, while naturally reinforcing key skills throughout the year.

Preschool Class

 

At Rainbow, our older classroom is a nurturing space where children build essential life and learning skills while having fun and forming lasting friendships. Here, we focus on helping your child develop:

  • Sharing and cooperation

  • Cleanliness and self-care habits

  • Listening and following directions

  • Letter and number formation

  • Social-emotional development

These early experiences are designed to prepare your child for a confident transition into preschool and beyond.

Starting at age 3, children begin our preschool and kindergarten readiness curriculum—a structured, age-appropriate program that gets them ready for kindergarten. With plenty of time to explore and practice, your child will grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive environment.

Each day includes a balanced mix of:

  • Outdoor play – Strengthening gross motor skills and social interaction

  • Arts & crafts – Encouraging creativity and fine motor development

  • Music & movement – Boosting rhythm, coordination, and expression

  • Reading & writing – Developing early literacy skills

  • Group activities – Promoting teamwork and communication

Summer School

 

Starting the week of memorial day and ending the last week of august is our school school program. During the summer we open up extra spots in our Preschool room for families that are looking for care during the summer when their preschool or kindergarten program is closed for the summer. We take ages 3-6 and it is a first come first serve basis. Get ready for fun events like Splashin' Fridays, Gardening, and more. Register your child today!​
